Rico J. Puno made fun of Regine’s boobies
Remy Umerez of the People’s Journal is wondering if Rico J. Puno would still be in the cast of Forever After, a Valentine show which starred Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, and Ai Ai delas Alas, in a planned extended tour of the USA in May.
Umerez reports that Rico J. has made jokes about Regine’s boobies during the show. “Ayaw mong tirahin, ako ang titira diyan,” Rico J. told Ogie in an adlib.
It wasn’t part of the script, and Rico J. has said he doesn’t want following a script. Knowing Rico, we know it’s just a light-hearted jest for him.
Rico J., idol ka namin, pero don’t make jokes about the joogs of Regine, okay? She’s our Big Sister eh!
C’mon Regine, show ‘em what you’ve got! Shake it babey!
Safety and Travel during State of Emergency, Philippines
The current political crisis in the Philippines is reaching a peak, with opposition forces staging rallies and demonstrations timed with the celebration of the anniversary of 1986 People Power Revolt amid persistent coup rumors.
Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, battered by calls for resignation, has placed the Philippines under a National State of Emergency with Proclamation No. 1017, a step lower than martial law, following discovery and foiling of a military coup. A state of emergency allows arrests without warrants and an extension of detention without charge.

Despite Macapagal’s declaration that the volatile situation has been placed under control, several foreign governments have issued travel advisories advising their citizens to exercise caution when travelling to the Philippines.
Prominent opposition leaders have heightened calls for Macapagal Arroyo’s resignation. Malacanang has warned media outlets against using anti-government propaganda, at least one newspaper, the Tribune, had been reportedly raided by the police.
PinoySpy would like to share these personal safety and travel tips when going around the Philippines at this time, whether you’re a local resident or a tourist/traveller:
* If you have no business around areas where rallies and demonstrations are being held, stay away from these areas.
* Avoid mass public transportation, and crowded public areas, if possible. There had been incidents of bombing of buses, urban railway coaches and public areas during politically tense periods.
* When going out alone, be sure to inform a family member or friend of your whereabouts. Because a state of emergency allows arrests without warrants and an extension of detention without charge, you could be picked up on the basis of mere suspicion.
* Keep tuned to radio stations to monitor the situation and avoid areas where trouble is being reported. Do not rely on only one or two mass media outlets; get the news from several sources.
* While peaceful assembly is a right, the Philippine government has declared rallies and demonstrations as illegal under the state of emergency. Several prominent leaders have been arrested, and even rallies led by former Philippine president Cory Aquino and Vice President Teofisto Guingona have been dispersed. Be aware of such situation. If you want to just watch the rallies (”uzisero”), be aware that you could also be mistaken as a protester and get arrested.

Australian Travel Advisory website: “On 24 February 2006, the Philippines Government declared a state of emergency following indications of heightened tensions in Manila. Street demonstrations and other civil unrest activities are possible. You should avoid any demonstrations and protests, exercise a high degree of caution and monitor the media for further developments.”
British Embassy Manila travel warning to citizens in the Philippines: “You should avoid political gatherings or demonstrations.”
