Typhoon Frank Live in the Philippines! One Night Only (we hope)

MANILA, Philippines (AP) -- A powerful typhoon that weakened into a tropical storm blew Tuesday toward Japan, leaving at least 12 people dead in the Philippines, officials said.

I hoped the storm was too early for the plantings, or else rice hoarders will have a newer reason to drive Filipinos crazier.
