In the Philippines, People’s Journal reports two suicides in the capital. One was a former call center employee who leapt to his death from an overpass, reportedly after failing to get a new job; another was a security guard who allegedly shot himself at the basement of the Robinsons Place mall in Manila’s tourist district of Ermita.
