New York-born billionaire Jeffrey Epstein is now embroiled in another sex scandal after a 23-year-old woman accused him of repeated sexual assault at his Manhattan mansion when she was only 16.
Maximilia Cordero was then an aspiring 16-year-old model when she allegedly had “bizarre and unnatural sex acts” with Epstein at his mansion on E. 71 Street several times in 2000.
The lawsuit was filed by Cordero’s boyfriend, lawyer William Unroch. The New York Post mentioned that Unroch is 57 years old (See the 11th paragraph of the article “Jeff Epstein sued for ‘repeated sexual abuse’ on teen“), implying that Cordero was fond of successful older men.
Epstein, 54, dubbed the “International Moneyman of Mystery” by New York Magazine, and described in the Wikipedia as a “reclusive American billionaire financier and philanthropist”, is already facing charges of soliciting underage prostitutes in Florida. He had agreed plead guilty to soliciting prostitution and could face a maximum of 18 months in prison.
SmokingGun, meanwhile, publishes a copy of the 23-page complaint filed by Cordero.
Cordero, now 23, quoted Epstein as saying: “I love how young you are. You have a tight butt like a baby.”
Wall Street tabloid DealBreaker reports that Epstein’s lawyers are gearing for more lawsuits from women who may claim to have also been abused by the billionaire when they were below 18. Writes John Carney:
Now admittedly, when a guy as rich as Epstein is rumored to be lands in trouble, there will definitely be con-artists and frauds who will seek a fast buck by alleging to be victims.
New York Post’s Page Six blog says Epstein’s lawyers expect as many as 40 women to file more lawsuits. These women went to Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion in Florida for “massage sessions.”
Says PageSix:
“…underage girls told cops they claimed to be 18 or over and gave the financier massages for hundreds of dollars per session. One girl, described in court documents as just 14, said Epstein used a “purple vibrator” on her while she partially stripped. Cops say Epstein’s assistant, Sarah Kellen, helped arrange the massages.”
“The lawyers have identified up to 40 women who could come forward, even though some of them didn’t even see Epstein - they just accompanied their friends and stayed in the kitchen and had lunch…”
