In yet another scandal involving the Catholic Church, an Italian monsignor with a senior position at the Holy See has been suspended after a hidden camera caught him making advances to a young man and saying he “didn’t feel he was sinning” by having sex with gay men.
The video was aired by La7, a private Italian television network in a segment about priests involved in homosexual affairs. Although the monsignor’s face was obscured and his voices was altered, Vatican officials recognized the Vatican office in which the video was taken — it was the monsignor’s office!
In this report on The State, Associated Press identified the priest as Monsignor Tommaso Stenico.
Stenico is a top official in the Vatican’s Congregation for Clergy, an office which aims to ensure proper conduct by priests.
But Stenico (see photo below, via Petrus) insists he’s not gay.

Tommaso Stenico needs to be investigated also for drug abuse, because Tommaso Stenico has to be on the crack pipe if he really believed he could say some shit like that, and the Vatican was going to say BRAVO, BRAVO.
