46-year-old HongKong pop star Jacky Cheung has been nicknamed the “The Terminator” for hiring and firing 21 Filipino maids in three years. For that, he and his wife former actress May Lo been banned by the Philippine consulate in HK and placed on a “blacklist of sub-standard employers.”
Cheung was the subject of complaints and protests for his treatment of househelps from local and other Asian countries. A former Filipino helper working under Cheung, Preslyn Catacutan, was in the news last year after she was jailed last year for allegedly stealing photographs and a letter from the star.
