Even after the “whitewashing” of BoyBastos.com on the strength of a press release from the Loren Legarda, it seems Philippine internet censors are helpless against the proliferation of the nude photos of Filipina-American teen idol Vanessa Hudgens.
The question being asked by pundits now is: Can Loren Legarda stop Vanessa Hudgens? And how?
Some members of the PinoySpy forum suggest creating a giant firewall on all incoming web traffic to the Philippines, akin to the Great Firewall of China. This can be called the Banaue Rice Firewall.
Loren Legarda can also ask her staff to monitor all blogs, forums, usenet groups, threaten them with closure if they post the nude pics or even if they link to them, or even if they talk about the scandal. She can also hire local SEO to googlebomb “vanessa hudgens nude” so her press release comes first on the search results.
The Vanessa Hudgens nude pics are now a nightmare for Philippine internet censors, and they better find a way to build the Banaue Rice Firewall of the Philippines.
