This initiative of Sen. Loren Legarda regarding the shut down of boybastos.com is a nice job for the popular senator. Many people condemned the website because of its pornographic videos and photos, for the religious person it is a good action for a legislator but to the website user, it is an attacked to their habit. I think Senator Legarda together with the NBI never bother that the issue on hand is a website. For the fact the we are in global village , worldwideweb is the matter here.We can’t control this things even if you ordered the closure of a certain site like boybastos.com. Everybody should know how to live with a world wide web, the behavior of the internet and set up of a website. Because for the website developer, IT persons, and advanced users and the computer& internet hobbyist the action made by Senator Legarda and the NBI is just a small dot in whole bond paper or even smaller to that as we compare it.
For the IT persons and interent users, pornographic photos & videos is rampant in the WWW, and no one can’t control it, you can type pornographic words in any search engine and they give it to you the results in matter of seconds, thern you can see and watch it. That is how open the world wide web, Mrs. Senator and to the NBi officials. We can’t control the http://WWW. It is a virtual world for everybody, in which we can exercise freedom almost in all aspects of surfing and navigation in it.

why should legislator focus on the talent of filipinos in website development and legislators should provide fund for it not to go to their wallet and go to their personal gain.
