The alleged cheating in the game show Wowowee hosted by Willie Revillame has exploded into a word war between Willie and veteran comedian Joey De Leon who hosts rival Eat Bulaga.
This has split the public into the so-called Willie and Joey factions, backed by the seething animosity between the Kapuso and Kapamilya groupies. This ongoing word war has further split the divided Filipino nation into many factions: pro-Gloria Arroyo, pro-Erap, pro-Willie, pro-Joey, Kapuso, Kapamilya, pro-San Beda and pro-Letran, add to this the pro-Joma and anti-communists
