In Malaysia, a local newspaper has stirred furor over by publishing Jesus Christ smoking — the newspaper claimed its graphic artist was not aware that the Jesus image downloaded from the internet was holding a cigarette!
The Tamil-language newspaper Makkal Osai, in a frontpage apology, said the publication of the smoking Jesus Christ was a mistake. S.M. Periasamy, general manager, says:
“The graphic artist, whom we have already suspended, didn’t see the cigarette… It was a mistake.”
The cigarette was placed between Jesus Christ’s index and middle finger using graphic editing software.

it’s good that they ask for apology..but my advice for them,next time they should check it all before they publish it..
ok lng mkita natin si jesus na umiinom sa last supper basta wag lng siyang manigarilyo kasi bad for the health un,nakaka lung cancer..
