North, South Korean border guards try to start World War III

Soldiers on both sides of the demilitarized zone (DMZ) separating North and South Korea exchanged automatic gunfire — trying but failing to start World War III.

No casualties were reported, but the gunfight has raised alert levels in the tense region, with Kim Jong-il ready to pulverize half of the inhabited earth — including the US-backed Philippines — with his nukes.
