One of the short stories in the movie “The Ten,” tells the story of a virgin librarian who takes a trip to Mexico and experiences a sexual awakening with a local man named Jesus H. Christ.
The movie, directed by David Wain and starring Jessican Alba and Winona Ryder, is set to be released on Friday, and ChristianToday says it features the Ten Commandments “in a very unflattering way.”
“Christians have expressed their concern about the film and how it degrades and insults God and His laws,” ChristianToday says.
The Ten contains adult language and humor.

The cast includes Paul Rudd, Gretchen Mol, Ken Marino, Famke Janssen, and Adam Brody.
In the The Ten website, Wain lists the characters in the movie:
- A guy (Adam Brody) who becomes an accidental hero after falling out of a plane
- A librarian (Gretchen Mol) who has a sexual awakening in Mexico with a swarthy local (Justin Theroux)
- A doctor (Ken Marino) who kills his patients “as a goof”
- A police detective (Liev Schreiber) who covets his neighbor’s Cat Scan machine
- A mother (Kerri Kenney-Silver) who enlists an Arnold Schwarzenneger impersonator (Oliver Platt) to be a father figure to her children
- A prisoner (Rob Corddry) who covets his fellow inmate’s “wife”
- A woman (Winona Ryder) who falls in love with, and then steals a ventriloquist’s puppet
- A Rhinoceros who learns the pitfalls of gossip
- A husband (A. D. Miles) who skips church with his family to get naked with his friends and listen to Roberta Flack

pero kung believer ka…at kng deboto…ai…isang malaking insulto yan…grabe…
but since medyo malaki ang influence ng religion sa ting mga pinoy…
makakatanggap yan ng negative reactions mula sa simbahan.
this is an insult.movie producer should always consider beliefs and religion of other faith..just like what happen of robin padilla’s movie yong mistah..hehehe it is not showed in lanao and i guess other muslim places..kaya dapat hindi rin ito ipalabas sa pilipinas.nakakainsulto ito sa ating paniniwala at pagkatao..ok yan ipalabas sa ibang bansa but i guess hindi dapat sa pilipinas.

Sa pananaw ng mga Amerikano, ang artistic expression ay malayang pamamahayag ngunit sa ibang pananaw ang kalayaan ay hindi lubusan kung ito’y sumisikil sa kalayaan ng pananampalataya ng ibang tao o grupo ng tao. Sa ganang akin, ang pamamaraan ng pagpapahayag ng ideya ay isang pagkutya na dapat lang iwasan ng isang sensitibong tao.

hindi ako mao-offend sa movie na ito kahit ako ay kristyano. mao-offend ang church kasi insulto ito sa tinuturo nila sa atin.tandaan nyo na “ang relihiyon ay hindi ito daan para sa kaligtasan kundi sa pananalig”. kung ito man ay nakakasira sa inyong pagtitiwala sa diyos, ay napakahina ng inyong pananalig. nasa inyo yan kng panoorin nyo ito o hindi.
Better watch it first.
Ok. Sana naniniwala yang mga producers na yan na may Diyos kasi kung hindi, hindi nila mapapaliwanag kung anong mangyayari sa kanila. At para sa mga walang relihiyon, ito lang ang masasabi ko:
“Jesus is BEYOND RELIGION.”
Kung makikilala niyo Siya’t makakausap araw-araw (he seriously talks with ordinary individuals!) saka niyo lang maiintindihan ang sinasabi ko. Peace.
