Marikina Congressman Marcelino Teodoro was “shocked” when he saw a cat roaming around the corridors of the House of Representatives.
“It was really a culture shock for me, not expecting to see a cat which can normally be found in homes,” Rep. Teodoro was quoted by Peoples Journal.
It turned out that the cat was only among the many pussy cats that are inside the Batasan complex. The cats were pets of some Philippine Marines who used to guard the House of Representatives.
Teodoro did not realize the cats are food for alligators in Congress.
