A son and namesake of former US Vice President Al Gore has been arrested in California for possession of marijuana, after police stopped him for speeding on the San Diedo freeway.
Al Gore III, who was driving a blue Toyota Prius, also yielded prescription drugs such as Xanax, Valium, Vicodin and Adderall but he wasn’t able to produce the prescriptions.
News reports said police smelled marijuana when they approached his car. He was stopped for driving 100 miles per hour (161 kph) on the southbound lane of the freeway.
Al Gore III is the youngest and the only son of ex-VP Al Gore, who’s been recently been drummed up for a possible presidential run in the 2008 elections. He’s an associate publisher of Good, a magazine about philantrophy for young people.
He had been previously arrested for marijuana possession in December 2003.

Tama yan! Kung nandito ka nga sa Pilipinas, absuelto ka dahil sa “no sufficient evidence” ang kaso mo. Humanda ka lang sa matinding “outside the court settlement”. Walang nahuhuling malaking isda dito sa atin dahil protektado sila ng mga corrupt na opisyales ng gobyerno. Tuwing may-raid, walang mahuling malaking isda dahil maaga pang natimbrehan. Onsehan palagi ang dahilan ng raid sa sobrang hingi ng mga bugoy. Maganda lang tingnan sa TV, pero kunyari “too late the hero”. ULOL!!!
