PinoySpy investigators yesterday warned working girls in Makati City on upskirting activities that victimize sexy office women in skirts, after photos submitted by a PS agent showed proof of upskirting in the city’s business district.

“It doesn’t matter if you are pretty or ugly. Anybody can be a victim,” a PinoySpy investigator said.

He said most upskirters victimize pretty mature office girls, or what they call “MILFs”.

“Upskirting” refers to taking pictures of women’s underskirts using cellphone cameras or small digital cameras. It a crime punishable under the Philippine Revised Penal Code.

Photos below showed a victim of an upskirt voyeur somewhere in the vicinity of the Smart building.

PinoySpy investigators, in a press release, gave these tips on how women can protect themselves against upskirting:

* Wear dark underwear;

* Avoid wearing underwear with holes.

* Avoid loose-fitting underwear (i.e. granny panties) as this may expose your private parts.

* Be careful when walking up escalators, stairs etc.

* Be wary when somebody is walking up too close behind you. He may not be a voyeur, but a snatcher or robber.

* Immediately report suspicious activities to the police.

* Be careful when reporting to the police when you are alone. Avoid drunk policemen. Report to the Women’s Desk.
