Dontugan: Mama’s boy
Juan Dontugan, 25, a wood carver, surrendered to his mother in northern Philippines on Friday April 27, 2007 and in turn to the police. He reportedly admitted to the crime upon initial interrogation. Dontugan is being sought by police in the killing of slain U.S. Peace Corps volunteer Julia Campbell, 40, who disappeared while hiking solo to the Banaue Rice Terraces in Ifugao province on April 8, 2007.
The victim (below), of Fairfax, Virginia, has been working at the Donsol Comprehensive High School in Donsol in the Philippine province of Sorsogon. Her body was found shallow grave in the northern Philippines on April 18, 2007, 10 days after she went missing.

The killing is another slap on the sagging international image of the Philippine as a country where killings go unabated.
Nag-volunteer na ang tao, papatayin pa!

Why was the body cremated?
Dang! Of all people, he had to kill a humanitarian volunteer and a peace corps at that! The lady was trying to help them and this low life ignoramus felt the need to kill her for a lousy bag! Its shameful!
duran hanggang malunod!!!
