Blues rock singer Singer Sheryl Crow believes using less toilet paper (or other tissue products for that matter) will help stop global warming.
Sheryl Crow, who has joined a global warming campaign, writes on her blog: “I propose a limitation to be put on how many squares of toilet paper can be used in any one sitting. I think we are industrious enough people to make it work with only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where two to three could be required.”
While critics laughed off her solution to global warming, PinoySpy environmental experts believe that she makes sense because:
1. Using less toilet paper or tissue will help conserve trees, since paper products come from trees. Deforestation contributes to global warming.
2. Using less toilet paper or tissue will result in less waste, meaning less toxic gases being produced.
