Holy Week didn’t matter for a 36-year-old tricycle driver in Bataan province, who was arrested for allegedly raping his 9-year-old stepdaughter.
Reports reaching the PinoySpy News Desk identified the suspect as one Romeo Sta. Rosa, alyas “Mio”, a live-in-partner of the victim’s mother.
Police investigation showed that the suspect raped the victim, a grade 2 pupil, at their backyard around 6:30 pm of April 1. The next day, the girl reported the incident to her aunt who immediately went to the police.
The suspect is now detained at the Balanga City Jail and facing charges of rape in relation to RA 7610 or the Child Abuse Law.
