A 54-year-old aircon repairman fell to his death from a second floor window of the Sogo hotel in Quezon City — while repairing an aircon unit at 1:30 a.m.
Reports reaching the Novaliches Police Station 4 said the victim, Venancio Pascasio, fell head first on the pavement below causing his instant death.
The accident took place at the Sogo Hotel on Quirino Highway, Novaliches. Police said Pascasio was repairing a window-type aircon unit of one of the rooms in the second floor when the wooden brace supporting the aircon unit suddenly broke.
Pascasio, who was apparently leaning on the unit from the window, lost his balance and fell. He died from from a cracked skull and mutiple fractures in the body.
