In Cebu, Philippines, a 50-year-old suspect in the rape-slay of a 12-year-old elementary school student decided to cut the investigation short by killing himself with poison.
The suspect, Eduardo Caballero, of Bgy. Tuguib, Badian, was one of the suspects being investigated by police in the rape-slay case because his house was located near where the body of the girl was found.
Caballero’s daughter told police her father said he went out of the house at 4 am on Monday, saying he was just going out to get some fresh air. But after a few minutes, she her father crying for help, and she saw a bottle of pesticide nearby.
Police said Caballero died of poisoning by Endrine, an agricultural pesticide.
Police investigators strongly believed Caballero was involved in the case because they found in his house a blood-stained pair of shorts and shirt and a 6-inch knife believed to have been used in the killing of the girl.

guys, i dont think its right to call him SOB or that he deserves to die 100 times more. he was not proven guilty and suicide can not conclude that he is guilty. malay niyo may ibang problema yung tao tapos nadagdagan pa sa pagbintang sa kanya kaya mas lalo nadepress. everyone is innocent until proven guilty. human right law.
