In Australia, a 27-year-old woman was rushed to the hospital after swallowing a spoon while eating spaghetti.
According to the Sunday Telegraph, the freak accident happened while the woman was engaged in a comic conversation at dinner.
She was eating spaghetti and the spoon was in her mouth when she laughed so hard. She accidentally swallowed the 6-inch spoon, which got stuck in her esophagus and reached as far as the top of her stomach.
She was taken to the Canterbury Hospital where a 90-minute procedure was done to remove the spoon.
