In a message posted on her official website, Britney Spears appeals for public sympathy and admits she went too far in her her recent partying misadventures with new-found friends Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, where she was captured by the paparazzi in pantyless photos.
Britney says:
“It’s been so long since I’ve been out on the town with friends. It’s also been 2 years since I’ve even celebrated my birthday. Every move I make at this point has been magnified more than I expected, and I probably did take my new found freedom a little too far.”
Britney Spears also hinted she’d be back to wearing panties again.
“Thank God for Victoria’s Secrets’ new underwear line.”.
