Bobby Pacquiao of the Philippines today lost by disqualification in the 11th round of his fight against Hector Velazquez, who captured the WBC Continental Americas super featherweight championship at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Pacquiao actually knocked down Velazquez in the third round and was leading the scorecards, but a third low blow to Velasquez in the 11th round cost him the fight.
Bobby, alias “The Sniper” is a younger brother of Manny Pacquiao, who faces another Mexican slugger, Erik Morales, on Saturday, Nov. 18.
