Two hyperactive security guards of the Philippine National Construction Corp. created a traffic jam on the South Luzon Expressway (SLEx) yesterday when they mistook a toothpaste tube for a “bomb” and reported it to the police. It turned out to be a toothpaste tube, and not a bomb.
If the police had detonated the fake bomb, it would have created a toothpaste blast at the corner of the West Service Road and General Santos Avenue at the Bicutan Interchange at around 12:30 p.m.
It was not stated in the news report if the security guards were on crack or something.
